Absolute360 Women’s Infrared Workout Shorts Review

Compressive, Chafe-Free Workout Shorts With a Recovery Edge

Finding workout shorts that stay exactly where you put them — no riding up, no waistband dig, no chafe on the longer sessions — is harder than it should be, and most women’s shorts make you choose between comfort and support. The Absolute360 Women’s Infrared Workout Short Tights refuse that compromise. I wore them across short runs, strength work and a longer cycle to see how they coped with very different demands, and my overall impression is simple: these are a properly premium short that feels like a second skin and quietly does something for recovery too. There’s a lot to like here.

WSS™ Assessment

Inclusive Fit & Proportional Sizing — 3.5/5 ★★★★☆

The fit within my size was excellent: I took a Large and found them true to size, with a snug compressive feel that I genuinely enjoyed. The cut is shaped for women rather than scaled down from unisex, and the size guide is clear and accurate. The size range is limited to small , medium and large so not huge choice across the size range.

Functional Performance in Use — 4/5 ★★★★☆

This is where they shine. The 360° seamless construction meant no rubbing, no chafing and no irritation, even on longer efforts and interval sessions where shorts usually ride up on me. They stayed put through sprinting, cycling and squats without a drawstring — something I expected to miss and simply didn’t. Supportive, secure and flattering without cutting in: exactly what I want from a performance short.

Adequate Support Standards — 4/5 ★★★★☆

These shorts combine lightweight comfort with unrestricted movement and infrared-responsive technology and are designed to support you before, during and after activity. Whether you’re recovering from a hard training session, travelling, resting or simply relaxing at home, infrared-responsive technology is designed to complement your recovery routine and help keep you comfortable throughout the day. The shorts delivered on its support claim and I felt snug and supported. The compressive waist held everything securely in place across every session, with no shifting or readjusting needed.

Thermal Regulation & Material Performance — 4/5 ★★★★☆

The soft, stretchy fabric felt comfortable across runs, gym work and cycling, and crucially it lasted: after multiple washes the colour stayed sharp, the compression held and there was no pilling. The headline infrared technology — said to reflect body heat to boost circulation and recovery — isn’t independently lab-tested as far as I can see however i never felt like I was over heating in these shorts. The material durability, though, I can vouch for. They have gone through several washes and the fabric remains intact.

Genuine Female Design — 3.5/5 ★★★★☆

The ergonomic, women-specific cut is the standout here: it hugs in the right places, moves with you and flatters without feeling restrictive. It isnt clear if the have been specifically engineered for a woman’s shape however they felt great on and fitted in all the right places. I would have loved a functional pocket or two for a key or gel, which would have lifted this further — the design is thoughtful, just not quite feature-complete.

Transparency & User Reviews — 3/5 ★★★☆☆

I’ve put these shorts through real, varied training — short runs, strength sessions and a longer ride — so this verdict is grounded in proper hands-on use rather than spec sheets. The infrared performance claims aren’t independently published or verified, which I note neutrally rather than as a failing. Score them on comfort, fit and durability and they hold up well; the recovery science just needs more public evidence behind it.

Pros & Cons

What I loved:

  • 360° seamless construction — zero chafe, even on longer efforts
  • Stays put through running, cycling and squats with no drawstring needed
  • Soft, second-skin compression that feels supportive not restrictive
  • Durable: holds colour, compression and finish after multiple washes
  • A noticeable comfort and recovery feel on tempo sessions

A few gentle watch-outs:

  • Premium price — more than basic gym shorts
  • Infrared recovery claims aren’t independently verified
  • No functional pocket for a key or gel
  • Full inclusive size range isn’t confirmed

Who It’s For / Who It’s Not For

These are for women who train seriously and mix it up — runners, gym-goers and cyclists who want one supportive, chafe-free short that handles everything and lasts. If you struggle with shorts riding up or digging in, they’re a strong shout. They’re less for you if you’re after a budget, casual pair for the occasional session, or if you need built-in storage for keys and gels on the move.

Size & Fit

I went for a size L and found them a perfect fit: true to size, with that snug compression feel I personally love because it feels like the shorts are actively supporting me. If you prefer a looser fit or you’re between sizes, size up. The brand’s size guide is straightforward and accurate, so it’s easy to land on your best option. Despite the lack of a drawstring, they stayed secure throughout every session.

The Verdict

The Absolute360 Women’s Infrared Workout Short Tights quietly tick the boxes that matter to me: comfort, security and durability. The seamless, stay-put fit is the real star, and they survive the wash basket far better than most premium kit. The infrared recovery angle is a nice bonus rather than a proven headline. If you train across disciplines and want one supportive short that simply works, these earn their place — premium price and all.

FAQ

Are the Absolute360 Women’s Infrared Workout Shorts true to size?

They run true to size with a snug, compressive feel. I took a Large and it fitted perfectly. If you prefer a looser fit or sit between sizes, consider sizing up — the brand’s size guide is clear and accurate.

Do these shorts have a drawstring?

No, and I expected to miss it but didn’t. The compressive waist stayed secure through running, cycling and squats without any adjusting. They simply stayed put across every session I tried.

Does the infrared technology actually work?

In my sessions my legs felt less heavy on tempo runs and I recovered a little quicker the next day. The infrared recovery claims aren’t independently lab-verified, but the in-use comfort was genuinely noticeable.

How do they hold up in the wash?

Very well. After multiple washes the colour stayed sharp, the compression held and the fabric didn’t pill. I wash them inside out on a gentle cycle, which I’d recommend for longevity.

Are they worth the premium price?

They’re not the cheapest shorts out there. For women who train seriously and value comfort, durability and a recovery edge, the investment makes sense. For occasional gym use, basic shorts may do the job for less.
